This outdoor chair is one of my favorite pieces of the designer. Although this chair is generous in size, the material, the lines and the flowers detail softened the design.

Triennale di Milano

The “Triennale di Milano” is an important institution which, since 1923, has witnessed the naissance and the development of new cultural trends and social phenomena of great importance such as architectural rationalism and industrial design, always underlining the importance of a strict relationship between man and environment.
Great designers of the 20th century have given emphasis to the story of this institution: Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier, Joseph Loos, Giuseppe Terragni and Mies van der Rohe, to name a few.
The Triennale Bookstore housed in the ancient Impluvium is a modern bookshop offering a wide selection of books on architecture, design, modern and contemporary art, with special emphasis on new artistic currents and the latest trends. Over the years, the Bookstore has become a point of reference for students, architects, designers and anyone who may wish to learn more about the “culture of design”.

Roof top restroom
Last weekend I went to a party in the roof top of “Gansevoort South Hotel Spa Residences”. Besides the beautiful pool and amazing view I found the restroom to be quite interesting.
Men’s and women’s bathrooms are under the same canopy roof with shared sink area. All in the open.
Definitely worth a picture…and a post.
